When will the “beta” version no longer be “beta”? I’m not really tech savvy, so I’m not inclined to try “beta” versions since I can’t be sure if an issue is a “bug” or just me not knowing what I’m doing. Microsoft has not given any clear indication when it will be finalized, since the focus is on quality and feature parity with the current version of Edge. Keep in mind, even if you install Edge Beta on Windows 10, it does not remove the original version of Edge, it still co-exist with it.

Microsoft will release the final version as a regular update. I really like the Home, Favourites, Feeds and History, and the tools icons in the top right hand corner of my ie11 screen. I particularly like the History being Weeks, and Days when opened. Edge doesn’t seem to have those, nor indeed do Chrome or Firefox, both of which I dislike as much as Edge on PC though use laptop mainly with win 8. I like the Google toolbar which means I can highlight something and it will display in the search box.
